Edits on the S/M list. These are only meant to obtain a correct version of the 1993 S/M list, not to reflect changes since that date! Users of the electronic list are advised to obtain a complete copy again, instead of adding these edits below by hand.
1. June 7, 1995: change "Hydrochrous" to "Hydrochous"
2. August 31, 1995: change "Apalis sharpei" to "Apalis sharpii"
3. August 31, 1995: change "Corythaixoides personata" to "Corythaixoides personatus"
4. August 31, 1995: change "Hylacola pyrrhopygius" to "Hylacola pyrrhopygia"
5. August 31, 1995: change "Nectarinia coccinigastra" to "Nectarinia coccinigaster"
6. August 31, 1995: change "Neodrepanis hypoxanthus" to "Neodrepanis hypoxantha"
7. August 31, 1995: change "Pycnonotus melanoleucus" to "Pycnonotus melanoleucos"
8. August 31, 1995: change "Phylloscopus poliocephalus" to "Phylloscopus poliocephala"
9. July 15, 1996: change "Poospiza assistufa" to "Poospiza nigrorufa"
This was an obvious keyboard error, with "assist" being a dBase command under a
function key :)

11. March 24th, 1997:
Changed two spellings of "Gray-" to "Grey-" to obtain overall consistency.

- 8795 Grey-cowned Rosy-Finch
Changed Latin name of Rufous-crowned Roller to correct an apparent
typographic error that dates back to 1945.
- 1034 Coracias naevia
12. February 17th, 1998:
Changed back the spelling of "Pluvialis dominicus" to "Pluvialis
dominica". The authors of the former paper on which change (10)
was based for this species, have changed their minds (Auk 114, 544,
1997). Back to "dominica". (Thanks to Allan Peterson for pointing
this out.)
