Genus changes in bird species

The intention of this set of pages is to document changes in the genera to which species have been assigned. To accept or not to accept such changes will always remain to some extent a matter of taste. I did not want to ignore the ornithological literature in this respect, so felt that the best I could do is to value papers and include those that seemed to provide convincing evidence.

Changes here documented have been committed to the main list.
